Our Story

Coliving.frilingue was born in 2018 in the picturesque Swiss village of Liddes when Stefan, originally an English teacher at a ski camp, decided to stay permanently, drawn by the allure of the Swiss Alps. He partnered with Pele, the founder of language camps, who had been cultivating educational and cultural experiences since 2007. Both shared a deep love for the mountains, skiing, hiking, and community living.
The pandemic became a turning point, transforming their locations into refuges for those seeking connection. By 2023, Coliving.frilingue had achieved significant milestones, including hosting their first ski and art workations, expanding to Montenegro, and launching Europe's first crowdfunding coliving initiative. Their vision of a global community of shared experiences continued to grow, culminating in the purchase of Banko Nomad Fest, the world's largest nomadic gathering.
